The Challenge
Rapid deforestation, charcoal production, and erratic rainfall due to climate change are devastating livelihoods and ecosystems in the DRC — one of the world's most biodiverse regions. Communities bear the brunt of a crisis they did not create.
Our Approach
We plant trees, introduce solar energy to reduce charcoal dependence, train farmers in climate-smart agriculture, and engage communities as environmental stewards through incentive programs.
